Random Ramblings; books, music, films, other stuff…
Today I put out one of my sporadic “recommend me some new music” tweets and had an inundation of replies and suggestions. So as a way of forcing myself to actually give them all a go, I have come up with a mini project to keep myself busy and musically educated. I’ve put each of the suggestions on a piece of paper (I lie, two were omitted for already being some of my favourites – David Ford via @mrcolebourne and Temper Trap via @yorkshirelawman). The plan is simple: choose one, listen, blog. The rules: I will listen to the album recommended or where no album was specified I will pick the most recent, I will listen to the album in full even if I hate it after 30 seconds, I will blog my honest (uneducated) response. I figure I need a hashtag so I’m going with #twittermusictips. More to follow…
