Ghost Graduation (2012)
“A teacher with paranormal abilities helps a group of ghosts graduate high school.”
The LIFF programme likened this to Breakfast Club, which I adore. This was exactly as billed; Breakfast Club, in Spanish, with ghost students. I found this such light relief after some of the serious and complex storylines of the films I’ve seen so far this festival. Hilarious film, full of laughs…and cheese; not a film that takes itself too seriously. Loved the clichéd characters, the Whigfield and Bonnie Tyler soundtrack and the cheesy love story running throughout. If you’re looking for some light-hearted, funny cinema action this is for you (shows again Saturday)
